Lesson 15: Network Attacks & Defense

Network attacks happen when attackers try to intercept, modify, or block data in transit. Defense includes firewalls, VPNs, and monitoring.

Example:
Using a VPN encrypts your internet connection, preventing attackers on public Wi-Fi from stealing your data.

Common attacks: Man-in-the-middle (MITM), sniffing, DDoS. Security tools detect and block these threats.
